Try the Art cache clearing, try uninstalling the AOL adapters from Start>Programs>AOL>AOL System Information> clear browser cache (Temp Internet Files) then Uninstall AOL adapter, it is replaced when you next start up AOL. Emails you want to save- when you reinstall, email them to yourself, attach files and when you load the new copy they will come back in those emails. I found the best way to have AOL as Internet Service provider was to use Internet Explorer for eat AOL as a connection, save nothing in it's folders.
